Corey Lynch runs errand for sweet little grandmother

A co-worker/friend of mine, Joyce, has a granddaughter who is a cheerleader for Appalachian, and she wanted to see her cheer at her last game. So Joyce calls up a friend of hers who pays a badonkulous amount to the Yosef club, and said friend buys the two of them tickets to the game and gets them on the Yosef bus and all that. (Sidenote: Joyce knows NOTHING about football, let alone Appalachian State football. She only wanted to see her granddaughter cheer.) Fast forward to today when Joyce shows me her pictures from the game. She was on the FRONT ROW at the 50 YARD LINE. She has a picture of one of the ESPN cameramen rightthere. The rest of the pictures are of the cheerleaders and her granddaughter. She has a few of the players too. You know, since she was RIGHTTHERE behind their bench. She told me that she asked one boy if he knew Reva, the cheerleader, and he said yes, he knew her. So she asked if he could go over to the other end of the field and get her to come over. So, off he went to get her and bring her back to Joyce where all of the cheerleaders cheered and Joyce was able to take pictures of her granddaughter in action. I asked Joyce if that boy was a player, and she said, "I guess so, he had on a uniform." I asked what number, but she didn't have a clue. She said that he was in one of her pictures- he was the one riding on the exercise bike. I said, "THAT WAS COREY LYNCH!" This, of course, meant nothing to her. So I explained to her that he is an All-American Safety, that he's one of our best players, that he's the one who blocked the field goal to win the Michigan game... Nothing. So I said, "He's engaged to Billy Graham's granddaughter." "Ohhhh! Well they were sitting right next to us! They were talking all about the wedding. I was wondering which player they were talking about."
"Yeah, Joyce, that would be your little pageboy."

*tear*
He's not only a great football player, gorgeous, and engaged to a gorgeous rich young lady, but he's also a sweetheart? Ugh. Let's crash the wedding. Ask her where it is going to be?!

I'm totally giggling at this.. :) Too funny.
