Today is my last day of work for the week. Then I'm off for 5 glorious days of family visiting, sleeping in, and present opening. Then 2 more days of work next week, and we fly off to Pittsburgh for 5 days of cold new years and wedding festivities. Coming back in January to work a full 5-day week is going to be rough!
I wrapped all of our presents last night, and was kind of sad to see how much fewer there were this year than in past years. Stupid economy has really made us cut back this year. No cards to send and much less presents to be given. Oh well. Maybe next year...
My big-boss retired today. We had a reception for him this afternoon. I'm sad to see him leave. He and my other boss who retired over the summer are two of the best ones I've ever had. (Luckily, they both have great replacements though!)
I woke up Sunday morning to 2 texts from Soldier Boy! He's back in the states safe and sound for good!!! (Well, until his next tour in a couple of years...)

I'd say 2 posts in one day is a present to all of your blog readers! :) Safe travels and enjoy Pittsburgh. It's such a pretty city, especially at night. OH! And enjoy the specially pretty Christmas decorations that Pittsburghers put up -- I miss the tacky, big, multi-colored lights!!
