Things That Rock:

Internet.

Laptop Computer.

Wireless Internet.

Appalachian State University.

Appalachian State University Basketball.

Yeah, we lost, but it was the winning-most season of ASU basketball. So there. Next year? It's ON.

Beach Trip!!!

I'm such a slacker. We went to the beach last weekend with a bunch of friends, and I haven't even written about it yet... Yeah, so Friday, Daniel and I took off work early and headed down to North Myrtle to meet up with Jeff, Tracy, Brianne, Shay, and Chad at Jeff's grandparent's townhouse. That night, we went out to eat at Uno:
The group out for supper Friday night

Then we went out dancing at Broadway at the Beach. We went to one of the clubs where you pay one cover for three clubs, and we had a really good time!

Smoky or foggy?

Daniel and Tracy break it down

woo!

Saturday, Chad got up early to go do homework at Starbucks, and after the rest of us ate breakfast at Golden Griddle, Jeff and Daniel went to play golf. About an hour later, they returned to the townhouse with very sad faces. :( No one made a tee time, and there weren't any available until later in the day. No problem! We all went out on the beach with a couple of footballs and goofed around for a while.

Then Chad and Jeff got the bright idea to go in the ocean. In March. Yeeeeah... (Mom, sorry for the language in the video, but the boy was COLD.)

Ready to go in the ocean!

Saturday night, we went to eat at T-Bonez, then we went back to Broadway at the Beach and went dancing at Revolutions. This one wasn't as fun as the clubs the night before, but it was ladies night, so it was free for us. We stood up in the balcony for a good bit of time enjoying watching an older man get his groove on on the dance floor. The moves he had were truly incredible. I tried to get a movie of it, but it was too dark. You'll just have to take my word on it. By the end of the night, we had a dance circle formed where we did some silly dancing. It was a good time. One thing I did not like about all of the bathrooms in the dance clubs- they all have an attendant there to squirt soap on your hands and give you a towel. I don't carry cash! I am a debit card girl, all the time. I tried to avoid eye contact and get my own soap and towel, but there was no other option! Sorry lady, no tip from me! (Again, with the bathroom issues...)

Jeff, Tracy, and Chad

We came home Sunday afternoon expecting to see new kittens under our bed, but instead, we were greeted by an even bigger LuLu. ~sigh~ well, at least we didn't miss it. This weekend we are going to Saluda to see Daniel's Granny again. Hopefully LuLu will have them before then or wait until we get back. So much for that 2-week deadline the vet gave us 4 weeks ago...

Poop on foot may cause black eye...

So, this morning we let LuLu in our bedroom as we do every morning. (Yes, she is STILL pregnant.) As she was coming in, she saw one of the other cats, and this got her all upset and worked up. But then she perked up and got all lovey-dovey up on the bed. While petting her, I got a whiff of poo. As any cat mommy would do, I start sniffing her feet to find where it's coming from. Sure enough, the back feet stink of poo. Next thing I know, there are 4 claws around my eyeball, and even more in my hair! She was screaming and attacking me for sniffing her back foot! Needless to say, my eye is a bit sore now. She packs quite a punch! Luckily, I didn't lose the eye and there were no claws IN the eye. But be warned: poop on foot may cause black eye...
