Some fun things and stuff

Hey, lookie there, it has almost been a month since I last posted... My bad. Sooooo... What have I been up to lately? Well, Tracy, Brianne, Allison and I went to Savannah for MLK Jr weekend. The car ride that should've taken us 5 hours, took 9 hours since we decided to go through Atlanta. The ride home was also delayed 2-3 hours because of a downed Amber Alert sign on I-77. Allison explains it all very well here. And there are pictures from the weekend here and here. Even with all of the traveling, we had a GREAT weekend.

The next weekend, we went to Daniel's parents house in the mountains where his mom and I went shopping all day Saturday, then Daniel and I went out with Shane and Heidi that night to eat at the Bier Garden which was delish.

After not being home for a weekend since Dec 6th, we stayed home the weekend of Jan 30th. Although, we did take a nice trip up to Boone that Saturday where we met Jeff, Tracy, and Chad for lunch at Macado's, tailgating in the parking deck, App basketball game against Furman (where we met up with Max too), and Mexican for supper. Whew! Long day in Boone! We also saw gnumoon and Blue Ridge blog- thanks for the picture! We passed on all Superbowl festivities, and just stayed home that Sunday to watch it instead.

This past weekend, we went to the beach with Jeff and Tracy for Jeff's last HURRAH before his hand surgery (which he is in the middle of as I type this. ~happy thoughts~happy thoughts~). We got down there late Friday night, and went to Fat Tuesday and then Senor Frogs. (We were staying here.) Saturday, the boys went to play golf in the gorgeous 75-degree weather, while Tracy and I went shopping. We bought matching red pea coats because they were so perfect for both of us. We also bought matching purses, and now we think we spend to much time together. (But that's okay with us.) I also bought tennis shoes, pants, and another pea coat that is cream. (Yes, I realize that I may have a problem with buying too much outerwear.) We met back up with the boys for happy hour at Key West Grill and then Stool Pigeons. Sometime between happy hour and going out dancing Saturday night, we lost Daniel to the comfy bed. So, Jeff, Tracy, and I went out dancing. We had a blast, but we missed Daniel. Pictures from that fun fun weekend are here.
